that's a shame, they were short on players last week vs us (OISC) and it's much closer to drive to glenunga than to strath!

Just had our first time of a team getting the score wrong. Sneaky gits trying to claim a forfeit win for a game that wasn't played due to the pitch.

Hopefully they will edit is so it doesn't have to be disputed.

I've just seen that. I thought a forfeit was 0-2, not 0-3.

It can be edited up until it becomes "confirmed". When you click on dispute it tells you to contact the opposition first to allow them to edit a typo.

The opposition declined to edit so we have now disputed the result. It's in the leagues hands now.

With no doubt their lawyers working on it around the clock.

Wouldn't be the first time I've been threatened by them.

The accusations came out this time as well, seems like they only have one story they like to tell.

Heard the Modbury vs SPOC match was at Burragah? Why was Cs postponed?

Modbury pitch was under water and unavailable, games moved to Burraghah in order to get the fixtures in rather than postpone them all. Pitch was deemed only suitable for 2 games.

If the home ground is unplayable I would have thought by default it was a forfeit by the home team.....

That would mean that every time a game is called off because of the weather, the away team wins.

Our pitch was bad enough that we had to change venues and also call off the Sunday game that was supposed to be on it as well. There would have been no games at all if we hadn't changed venues.

That's ok mate just being cheeky.

I know its only amateur league and upkeep of pitches is quite different to a professional arena.

This result is still showing as disputed and nothing done by the league about it. Maybe they're waiting until the end of the season to see if it matters in the scheme of things.
