Looks like a 0-0 score has been entered on the SAASL website.

By the other two results I'd say a reprieve for gardens?

I didn't say it was right. I'm guessing it shouldn't have been entered.

Thanks to Raptors for their hospitality putting on food after the game. Looking forward to the reverse fixture next week. Hopefully we can sort out a time

Vale never give up, TTG just found out,(would of thought they might have learnt after the Inter game that it's never over till the fat lady sings)

What's the story with the Farm v Gardens game being called off due to an injury to the ref before the game? Surely there were other officials there - referee assistants/linespersons who could have stepped up? Referee stocks not looking good if a Sunday Premier League match can't even start due to unavailability of an official ref. I could understand lack of numbers in a lower division - but in the top league?? If stocks are that low, I hope the ref recovers, or there might be a game short next week. :?:

Apparently the referee needs a certificate one to referee first team games. Perhaps the linesman don't have that qualification.

Conversely referee stocks could have been low as some made them unavailable for the long weekend.

As mentioned in another place, the ref that was 'injured' was the replacement.
Time for some righteous indignation

Is anyone even going to take a point of Brahma?

I wonder how long it will take until the bubble bursts.

There's no bubble just a lot of hard work by everyone and a bit of luck at times. It's a long season and plenty of quality teams to come up against.

Do you really expect the league to have referees on stand by with 20 minutes notice to make it to a game. Maybe they should put spare referees into a helicopter ready to drop them in so they can cover the rare instance that a referee is injured.

Best revert to calling them linesmen rather than referees assistant then - not much assistance on offer if they aren't allowed to take over occasionally when required.
