Can registered players transfer to another club mid season?
Just as the question says, can registered players transfer to another club during the season?
Or do you have to wait until the following season?

Yes, but you can only play for 2 clubs in any one season.

Re: Can registered players transfer to another club mid seas
last year was a player who went from an ffsa club to an amateur club, and then to another ffsa club ?
The ffsa don't recognise saasl transfers, according to them was only one transfer.
Player knew exactly what he was doing, very calculated in the way he allegedly used the saasl club to get a clearance, played first couple of games and moved onto another ffsa club that was chasing him.
Was reluctant to post this as it may pave the way for other ffsa players to exploit this loophole.

Sorry but Im not seeing why it was so calculated.
A player can play for 2 FFSA clubs per season, this player you're talking about
did that, so what's the issue with him doing it?
He didn't need to move to a saasl club to make his 2nd move

Whats wrong with you?
Its either indigestion or this forum, and I hope its indigestion
Why?
Because at least I know that will get better in a little while

I think the point is, that his first Fed Club wouldnt release him to another Feb club, so he got there via the Sunday club.

Why wouldn't they release him?Soccer-Mad wrote:I think the point is, that his first Fed Club wouldnt release him to another Feb club, so he got there via the Sunday club.
Why would you want to keep a player who is that desperate to leave?

Something to do with if he went from one fed club to another there would be a transfer fee ( with this particular player ) one would imagine.Soccer-Mad wrote:I think the point is, that his first Fed Club wouldnt release him to another Feb club, so he got there via the Sunday club.
By getting cleared and released to play for an amateur club, and then going to another fed club, apparently did not cost the second fed club that signed him a cent.

Transfer fee?
I've never of one being paid before.
And a club can't stop a player from leaving.

transfer fee would only be applicable if the player was on a pro contract

HO did make the comment that with this player would be a fee involved - how does that all work now, is all done with some kind of points system ?
