New SAASL Website

Post by bench-warmer »

It's up.

Same same. But different!

Looks like they need to iron out some formatting bugs. Like that it looks like they will have previous years results/tables eventually.

Still no fixtures.
Because everyone needs one.

The logo for Modbury Jets isn't even for the correct club. They've used the fake Jets logo.

EDIT: and amusingly the logo used for the fake Jets is the amateur clubs logo.

What's to go on, one is actually called Modbury Jets, the other isn't.

what's the official name of both clubs? I realise the point you may be making is that they play as the Modbury Jets Old Boys in SAASL but the club they play under and pay their membership to is not the Jets as it doesn't have the Jets in their official name.

Jeez it's 2016, not hard to have a decent website. Interesting that their social media link is to the SAASL group and not the "official" page

Probably due to the 1167 current members and how well it is administered :D

Every club has access to the backend of the website via their ResultsVault login that they would have been sent and can login here:
http://admin-football.resultsvault.com

The userguide document for using the backend which was sent out to all clubs in that email was out of date, I contacted them and they sent me a new document:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/d302tw2z6e72 ... zq5Qa?dl=0
(you might need dropbox to see this - I tried to attach the doc to this post but was unable to)

All clubs can login, edit their club details (including logo), register players and eventually submit results directly to the website.

April 2nd is cup round
April 9th is first league round.

Have the teams been finalised in leagues yet?
When are the fixtures released?

Heard brahma are playing farm but can't remember who's at home.

We have our first 2 rounds. That's all we really need to know for now.
