Player fees at SAASL clubs

Post by Bomber »

Just curious to what players normally have to cough up to play at their SAASL club each season. I know some clubs are "richer" than others, so am asking more those who are "self reliant" and pretty much look after themselves.
Don't have to name the club, and feel free to PM, but am merely trying to ascertain what the average might be.
Many thanks

All depends on what the club includes with rego as to cost. Some clubs you would get polo, shorts socks etc. $200 mark roughly give or take.

$250 at a certain club and you'd be lucky to get even half of what you pay for

A polo shirt,2 pairs of socks and a pair of shorts. All some lads got was 1 pair of socks and the shorts and then on top of that you had to pay $5 a game

No doubt you probably also get 2 nights a week under lights, the option of up to 3 showers a week, your SAASL registration paid for, SAASL insurance, SAASL team fees, referees, etc etc etc :)

I believe I know which club this is. Also blames the players for not becoming alcoholics and spending $1000s at the bar

It's just not good enough especially when u have the president breaking everyone's balls 1 week into the season otherwise he's gonna start pulling cards. If your good enough to pay up on time you'd expect the club to do the right thing
