Hey Maxi, hope your recovery is coming along well.
Good effort from the boys on Friday night especially considering they played with a man short for over 70 minutes!!!
Saturday night was also a success with a good turnout.
and finally the c's had their first win this pre-season yesterday defeating Asteras b's 5-0. It was especially good for a couple of the new youngsters who scored their first goals for the club.

you said it LFC!
meanwhile maybe you can help me.
Why the hell would the AFL programme Port to play at 12:40 on Easter Sunday? Why wouldn’t they do it for Sunday night, when theres a public holiday on Monday?
How could they schedule a game for a club that already struggles for crowds at their games at that time.

yeah recovery is coming along popov.........slowly.
hopefully should be able to start jogging (in straight lines) by next week. but at this stage im writing off the first 4-6 games of the season.
not happy
and good on the c's for winning their first game. hopefully i can crack into it when i get back from injury!!
game this week is v Modbury Vista, not Plympton as originally thought
we need to get on the board this week and start picking up some points after our disppointing start to the season
it'll be our first game against a side that wasnt in our div last year, so we'll see how we go. hopefully get a couple of players back from injury to strengthen our squad

I wasnt there, but from what i heard the a's put in another disappointing performance.
5 changes from the team on sunday didnt help either. There are 6-7 first team regulars missing through injury at the moment and it wont get any easier this week vs Modbury
We need to start getting results soon.
The B's won 4-1 with Chris I scoring his first hat-trick for the club!
yes a disappointing result even with the players on the park (8 1st squad players missing, even played with 2 c' team players - AP was carry a little too much weight, but his mouth still continues to work fine!!! ).
hopefully the challenge of playing a league game against an unbeaten vista will pump them up.
b' team result was ok!! cabernet first half but there was some improvement in the 2nd - the missing player scenario flowed onto the b's who had 6 c' team players playing

We have three guys at the club who's initials are AP and the comments following could apply to all of them!!!!
