Ref was fair and used common sense throughout match, game played in great spirits with the teams having a few drinks and a yarn after.
Great set up there, hopefully a club of that calibre can get itself up the divisions quickly.
Thank you and looking forward to having you guys in Salisbury in the near future.
Thanks otbb, a big thanks to you guys who changed the fixture to suit us hence the hospitality you guys received.
we only ever do the carcoal bbq yiros thing once or twice a year sop it was good to see it so well embraced by the crowd yesterday.
that was the highest stadard c game i have ever played in must say thought you guys were going to play us off the park with that line up but credit to our guys for keeping in the game.
a big thanks to the gully boys also and well played too
i dont think "embraced" is probably the right word to use considering the way i ate two of those yiros'. More like inhaled, destroyed, smashed lol

Don't back away now sunshine, u made a call and I made u look stupid bcoz u think u know everything. Like I said, I'll be lining up in a Raptors guernsey this week but whether Im in one wen we play ur mob whoever that may be depends on a couple of factors the main one being whether I'll even be in Australia on that particular date not that I have to explain myself to a nobody. But how's this, when u can find the time to juggle commitments of work, 5 nights and 2 full days a week of Federation & Amateur league football along with spending a few hours a week writing a piece for an interstate newspaper while growing a family of 3 kids under the age of 7, then maybe, just maybe you can question my commitment on anything u like, until then and I'm being nice when I say this......NA PAS NA GAMITHIS
PS- Don't bother introducing urself bcoz I have no time for idiots who don't think b4 they talk...
Where were you ,i got there early to see you play ,but no show ,how can you help the club get promoted by playing for the C team
if you have alot of commitments ,then you shouldnt have commited to the Raptors
Good even contest between both sides. Last minute penalty to SM to equalise. Draw was probably a fair result though.
A's: 2-0 Raptors
Great effort by the lads to get their first win for the season. Well played throughout and showed the kind of play and determination needed to win. Hopefully this is a springboard to better things for the season.

The Raptors club ref from last year got to ref his first game this year recently - got sworn at in German, French, Portuguese and Spanish.....no different to Greek!

Have to commend Raptors on the "Raptors Style" video that Jim Viglis showed me tonight...brilliantly done...still a good solid Club with some good people and more importantly, a great sense of humour !

Sacred and one or two others have a fight on their hands to deliver the presentation night video

Big thanks to N Bassett and the Norwood SANFL boys for yesterdays friendly game
Weather wasnt perfect, the pitch was terrible but the game was played in good spirits
gotta say for footballers, Norwood would make a pretty decent amateur league side. They pushed the ball around really well, was impressed with their control and movement off the ball and their pressing game was excellent.
all in all a good hit out. Hopefully this can become a annual thing.
Big thanks to the Raptors committee for organising
It was a group of Nathans mates , mainly over 35's at the club that gave Norwood a game as favour to Nathan. The team was put together with a few SMS's
Nothin more than a kick around.
It wasn't the Raptors A's side....more like a trial run for an over 35's team.
Would've been a great day and by the sounds of things Raptors have done no harm in enticing some footballers to the club after their sanfl playing days
Apparently Norwood played the press really well...and called it chicken wings too....
All the best to Bill and the team for 2013 , still a strong club and big personalities. Great to see to club still attracting some big numbers.
