for those unfortunate not to have been there - see picture below..... as you can see, the free kick hit the back of the net in the top right corner. sweetly struck from 25 yds......(well done to the forumite/admin who came along and took photos)

also

well done to LFC8 who refereed the game. he has no formal qualifications and was in charge for only the second time. he displayed what a lot of referees should aim for... the 3 C's.

good win today, felt well in controll for most of the game,
Huge boost to the team with maxi coming back in the side...he was sheer class.
with a few others coming back , this will be difficult to maintain positions.
Its a good problem to have. :D

Hey MegaStructure, that no. 23 in your team is in 12 of the 42 pics. I make it 28%. Surely he got the Derby Medal. Looks like he had a picnic out there and all reports was instrumental in breaking the deadlock. Heard a rumour that it went to somone from the losing team. There needs to be an internal inquiry

Have to agree with you there Mega - was a nicely taken free kick (although it was more like 20 yards than 25 :D ). I thought the equaliser was pretty special too   .

Also contrats to LFC8 for a job well done, looking forward to the return leg.

whichever team i have been told to play in, has yet to lose a match this yr! with my average of ten minutes a match... lol

was a brilliant free kick from mega, was right behind the ball and saw it curl into the top right corner.

lfc8 did a good job as a referee, its hard to referee your own club, but to do two from the same club is even tougher!!!

I'd say that would be easier because you have no concerns about perception of bias etc...

Big games for all sides this weekend

our C2 side has a chance to fully cement top spot with a win over Munno Para - hopefully the boys can do the business and get the points

C1 will be looking to bounce back after last weekends 'derby' loss

the B's will be hoping for a good performance to get another win on the board and continue their good start to the season

and hopefully the A's continue their goal scoring form against Elizabeth, though no doubt they'll be fighting for every ball till the end - should be a good game

good luck to all teams and players this sunday.
GO RAPTORS!!

big disappointment to lose what was an important game for the a's on sunday

certainly had our chances and im sure even the fulham players would admit they we (even with 10, then 9 players) deserved to get something out of the match

great effort from the boys on the park to battle on with a man down. they should great courage, skill and determination which im sure will flow onto the next game

Without a doubt you deserved something out of the match.
The Fulham reserves probably feel the same about themselves.

big sunday at TGPS with all 4 teams playing at home this weekend

huge game for both the A's and B's as they'll both be looking for wins to keep up the chase for promotion and championship respectively
