It all depends on pitch availability for the 3 main pitches

Why the change? Should get a decent crowd from amateurs rock up.

The biggest billed world boxing title fight and a showdown in the afl may have something to do with it. But yes, hopefully a few extra turn up to see this clash on a saturday.

Request from Brahma. But suited us fine. Couldn't get any referees for a night game though.

And Modbury vs Para Hills just down the road at same time..... Maybe a 1pm kick off would've drawn a bigger crowd

Oops... I should read all posts before asking questions.

Nothing to do with mothers day then?
I suppose I should research when mothers day actually is. Hawkesy could no doubt tell me.

Could make for an interesting result /score line. Break from the normal routine, will feel different for both teams, playing on a Saturday.
Hope the Modbury Visa team don't expire before the end of the game.

Mothers Day is May 10. It's a normal League weekend.
