Sun Div 8
Raptors 5 arbe 4

Even for a C team one might wonder just how many guys can you play, Raptors played with at least 20 players, possibly more. Still a great game by both teams.

Unless it's a friendly, you can only play with 16 players, 11+ 5 subs.

South Coast v Angle Vale

A grade
game abandoned

All well and good for the boys from south to get under the skin of one of our players and get him red carded fair play!
but to the piece of sh*t supporter on the side line that ran up after everything had happened and cowardly punch our player that was sent off in the back of the head the game being abandoned was completely your fault. Hope you feel like a big man tonight mate and we will see if the league unfairly punishes your club for the stupidity of one supporter.

B grade

1-4
good game all round.

Great result today for our lads!

In the Bs it was a good battle and we managed a late equaliser which I think was deserved.

In the As it was a tight hard-fought battle and it took a moment of quality from our captain to grab the winner with about 20 to go! There were a few tense moments towards the end but our boys fought to the end to secure our first 3 points for the year!

Cheers to Gully for supporting the bar and to the players for coming in after the game for a feed.
All the best for the season and look forward to the return fixture

A Farm 2 Grove 1
Good game, Grove went 1-0, Farm got on top and got the equaliser before half time,
Farm scored the winner with a header from a free kick, credit to Grove who will do well this year.

B Farm 2 Grove 2
A game ruined by an atrocious referee, the Grove linesman can also be proud for winning a point
Ruling out a clear goal with a cheating flag. Grove equalised with the very last kick of the game from
a penalty, which was never there

C Farm 8 Grove 0

given that SAASRA have lost 22 officials from last season for various reasons .. maybe its time for players and officials to be thankful for what they get ....

What happened on the feild happened on the field the headbut incident was well over dramatized by the player involved and he didnt go back on to the pitch, either way doesnt give the right for a spectator to be a hero.

Fair play to your player who apologised after the game as a club if your proud of that performance then knock yourself out

Great A grade game played in good spirit, could have gone either way but a draw a fair result.
Good atmosphere created mainly by pontian supporters but all in good taste, a very enjoyable day.
