2-0 vista... Good result. This may put them up there for second favourite now no?
Re: Ingle Farm vs Modbury Vista TONIGHT
Second to who? The brahma? From what ive seen this year vista play for the boys an the brahma play for the coin.. wont suprise me to see brahma stay in div 2 again
Re: Ingle Farm vs Modbury Vista TONIGHT
As usual very entertaining games between these 2 clubs. A huge thank you to Ingle Farm committee, teams for making a great night. A good win for vista but the score didnt reflect the game as the 2 questionable off sides against farm could have made the difference and I must say the referee needed to grow a pair if he is going to card someone for swearing then clamp down on swearing from the start of the game, inconsistent decisions make the game so frustrating. Had to laugh at Simmo sending on one of our players after we copped the red, then only to be caught out after 5 minutes.
Once again thanks to simmo and the farm community for hosting us and we look forward to repaying the hospitality next year.

so you can only win a championship if you 'play for the boys'?Guiseppe wrote:Second to who? The brahma? From what ive seen this year vista play for the boys an the brahma play for the coin.. wont suprise me to see brahma stay in div 2 again
you might wanna check that idea with the teams at the top end of the table in div 1 and maybe the reason you found yourselves relegated to div 2.
Im closer than you think

From what ive seen vista at their best with the squad they have this year could mix it with the top teams in div 1 but your right the top div 1 teams throw alot of coin around

No gabon... Only brahma pay apparently... Let's not get carried away here....
Anyone else head down for a look? Vista must've improved out of sight from when I saw them last for them to be that good?

If you are a part of the Modbury Vista setup I'm sure your confident of the team doing well. Although this forum is for people to voice their opinion can I maybe suggest a little bit of modesty until the season starts. I'm sure jackdogs, Mr Football, Vista09 and giggseleven to name a few wouldn't want you to go setting yourself up for failure. Division 2 is and always has been one of the hardest to compete in and get out of, I hope for your sake the guys mention step up and make the difference as well as the great bunch of lads that have been around the club for many moons.
Good luck to all the boys this year, I will certainly be watching that league with close interest as will most.

Thanks for the essay outlaw was just a bit of banter? Didnt say vista will win a league ? Had a cheeky dig at brahma all in good fun? Div 2 is a very hard league to get out of especially having brahma gully an.florina will be a tight top 4 or 5 . As for players i mentioned i dont think Jay has played a league game at vista before? Ant maybe played 2? An i said to name a few not all but thanks for your opinion outlaw
