Dont normally dummy spit too much but not a lot of "romance" gone into the Sunday Premier fixture for mine.

Having Gardens v Downs in Round 1, Farm v Downs Rd 2 & Farm v Gardens Round 3 really is a cabernet draw all round.

For mine these type of fixtures should be aimed at being played later in the season to maximise interest and attendances etc

Interesting look at division four which has Chin United playing half as many games as anyone else, all away. I presume they don't have a home ground, and if that's the case will all clubs be awarded a forfeit win for the home games or will the final table just list on club as playing nine games, whilst everyone else has seventeen?

The problem is it isn't random. Every season the top 3 teams in div 1 play each other in the first 3 rounds. Given the top 3 teams have pretty much been the same for the last 6-7 years surely it would make for a more exciting finish if they played each other in the last 3 rounds

Marketing not your strong suit? They are trying to start each season with a bang to boost interest, generate some momentum. I'm not saying it's working, I'm just pointing out the reasoning. Approaching the finals at the end of the season generates it's own interest anyway.
