old ignatiuns, st peters, prince alfred, rostrevor, blue eagles, athelstone - that's what I can think of.
I didn't word my question properly, how many clubs in the Eastern Suburbs would be of that size?

If it was Raptors he was referring to, I don't see how West Tce or Kilburn is eastern....

Pembroke is getting up there too now. Think they have about 5 teams.
Because everyone needs one.

There seems to be alot of clubs struggling for players. We are touch and go with our fourth side this season.

I have heard USC will be fielding four teams and that on Saturday there are applications from 4 new clubs.
Fielding four sides is a great effort mate, we are struggling to field just the A&B sides which is a worry.
The Specimen Daniel Spooner still out there? surely he could play botyh wings in the B's and command the two spots up front in the A's?? :P
Senor Spooner has vacated his shirt at VFC but his banter still echoes through the breeze

I wonder if players are not as dedicated as they use to be to do the pre season ?
Be interesting to see if any more players come out of the woodwork over next couple of weeks.

Makes it really awkward for clubs trying to workout how many teams to nominate and to cater for, and I imagine it does not help the league either when they are trying to organise the fixtures -e.g going by what I have read on here, quite a few Division 2 Saturday league clubs ( at least 5 clubs ? ) are not having C teams ?

Maybe the saasl instead of three C team divisions, only have 2, and make them a 12 team league ( if there is enough C teams ) ? They can play every week, dont have to miss out every time there is a Cup Round. Just a thought.

That would make it harder for clubs. They would want all 3 teams at the same place.

They're most assuredly an Eastern Suburbs club, and I'd definitely call east of Glen Osmond Rd "in the east".

I wouldn't, on that location I would say Fullerton road is where is becomes the east. I would suggest as well that it's closer to South Tce than East Tce.

I love the little gossip mongers who say "a club" and sit back smugly waiting for people to work it out

Who gives a flying shiraz, we are quite a bit better off than last year, although had 6 or so not available for last weekend, would love one more goal keeper though
