Why not play both semis on same night? Long way for Knights to travel on a weeknight? Double header Friday would surely get more bar takings

Assuming Southern Knights win ... this tournament has been bit of a bogey for them in recent years....

Will be a struggle for Knights, Seaford are always up for the challenge....Knights don't have huge squad numbers and having six 1st teamers away will need some other players to hopefully step up.

Firstly availability, suitabilty & location of venues plus games may go to extra time & penalties therefore only one game per night.

Congratulations to Adelaide Pumas, Seaford Rangers, Ingle Farm & Elizabeth Downs on winning their respective zones to qualify for the HJ Templin Cup Final Series.

I also wish to thank all the clubs & players that participated in good spirits & supported the event hope you all gained something from it. It was certainly a challenge with the weather this year & hope to make some improvements & the addition of more clubs to the event next year.

That's it for me it's over to the SAASL from here on for the finals & all the best to those clubs involved.

Cheers Lefty :D

Semi final 1

Seaford beat pumas 3 - 0.

Good physical game and seaford scored early. Never really troubled by pumas but the kept it close and never gave any space away.

Great result now onto the final next week

Yes. Apparently only beating noarlunga 3-0 was some sort of slight on their performance last sunday. Lol

HJ TEMPLIN CUP FINAL SERIES

Semi Final 1
Wednesday 18th March 7pm @ Grange Reserve Cnr Trimmer Parade & Military Road Grange
Adelaide Pumas 0-3 Seaford Rangers

Semi Final 2
Friday 20th March 7pm @ Walkleys Park Fairfax Road Ingle Farm
Ingle Farm 1-1 (4-3 penalties) Elizabeth Downs

Grand Final
Friday 27th March 7pm @ Argana Park Midway Road Elizabeth Downs
Seaford Rangers vs Ingle Farm

Congratulations to Seaford & Farm in securing their place in the Templin Cup Grand Final. Should be a great night this Friday at Argana Park in a north vs south final. Would be great to see a big crowd & clubs changing their Friday night trainings so everyone can get down & support the teams competing. I'm sure the Downs will put on a good night they are great hosts & have the perfect facility.

See you there!

downs have a great facility for it, you're right, but lets be honest, ingle farm will get at least 7 or 8. 10 if they in fine form.

Seaford players are going to have to take the Friday off work.

That's certainly a long treck for them.

Don't worry there'll be plenty of parking.

how would that affect how long it takes them to get there?

:?: why couldent the venue for the final be central for both sides and their supporters. surely it would have easier and FAIRER to be democratic about this. :?:
