Depending on Pontians v Blue Eagles result today Brahma will need to win against Munno Para next week if Fulham win to be assured of promotion and Munno Para will need a point against Brahma to be assured of staying up.

If not Munno Para will have to rely on Fulham v Blue Eagles result which will be played Sept 14 which will be a nothing game for Fulham if Brahma win.

A Grade
ISC Raptors [4] - [0] South Coast

South Coast went down early when we failed to clear a set piece, and again before half time. Aside from the two goals, we played some good football. Raptors took advantage early in the second with a further two goals which put the game to bed. Hopefully hear form the league what is happening with regard to who goes down this year, what with AYS getting the boot earlier in the season. Well done to Raptors.

B Grade
ISC Raptors [1] - [2] South Coast
South Coast went down a goal in the first half before John Elliot skipped through the Raptors defence to fire away a stunner. Luke Kappler then came on to seal a decent away win against one of the most consistently good sides in the league.

Payneham 3 Ghan 2 (0-5)

Savoy & Polonia don't celebrate yet as the SAASL, due to an oversite, forgot to include overturning the first round game Ghan vs Payneham result when they overturned the Polonia & Raptors game against The Ghan for playing Fed players. Let's hope they can sort this out before next weeks games so all three clubs know what they are playing for before the games.

When are the league going to get serious on teams continually playing in-eligible players.
IF this is correct it will be 3rd game this year Ghan have been stripped of points for the same offence.
It is likely they have got away it in other games cos their opponents havnt had a team of investagators to prove their cheating.
In future the league should not just take away points gained but should also deduct penalty points as atm teams are only penalised for cheating IF THEY WIN AND GET CAUGHT

Well if this is the case we will do what we have to next week to see us up but it is just really disappointing how the league continues to let teams fraught the system.
Hopefully everything will be settled this week so every team in the division knows exactly what's up for grabs next Sunday

Lets wait and see.... but plympton have got some excellent evidence to say BH United played ineligible players
IF BP is correct and Plympton get 3 pts from the catch up game it will make the final round very interesting as Polonia & Savoy both have tough games but both are still well placed for promotion
If u have any evidence of any other team cheating then go for it... we have been harping on about it for the whole year, Please dont say it was a Polonia player as he left at the start of the season and was transfered accordingliy.....
As for Ghan... well... how much can we all take, Young stars got kicked out, they all went to ghan to reinforce their own kind and the WC players decided to help as well,
we had more then enough hard evidence to get points for our first game , if anyone else has a case then so be it, for now we were not aware of anyone else having a case so as far as we are concerned we are 4 points clear with 1 game to go ... again... Please dont call him a Polonia player as he is not , and hasnt been all year!!!!! He has played against us twice this year...

Personally, i think Angle Vale and Polonia are the best teams we have played all year and deserve to go up. I would include Ghan but who knows who they had on the park when we played them.

Going to miss playing Polonia - great bunch of guys, who have had a very good year. Well done

thanks to the South coast guys who helped us smash 20kg of chicken Yiros today too.

Like PASC, we are fed up with the cheating. Whoever gets promoted, I really hope the SAASL make a decision before next weeks games & give all teams involved the "for some players, the once in a lifetime opportunity" of celebrating their success. It would be shattering to be told you didn't get promotion a few weeks later.

I have to agree, this is getting well out of hand. Surely getting caught out 3 times deserves some further punishment. I mean you only have to look at the last game Ghan played last year to get a gauge as to what was going to happen this year.

Im my opinion, they should be going down & 3 teams should be coming up coming up from Div 4.

No one has celebrated anything as yet, mathematically the brickies from Parafield are a chance. Coach and club did well yesterday to keep a lid on it until it is in the bag... The relegation battle is heating up with a couple of the teams could still go down....Cheers to Swannsong and his band of merry knights on survivng thier first season in the big dance.
Was asking yesterday who everyone would love to see go down and the winner by a long mile was the bungers from the Vale, as much as we like playing them it was just something we would all love to see after years of humiliation and torment at the hands of this once successfull club....So here's to hoping the bungers are going down like linda lovelace in a shower scene............And King Nugget get that brick out of your head you big lummix.......

Mathematically we are still not safe yet....if Westies, Vista and Vale win next week our poor goal difference might send us down.....stranger things have happened

Congrats to the Downs on another league title. Bit of a tighter race this year but you've come out on top once again. Good luck in the Semi!

Well done to the Downs, although glad your not celebrating yet, as hopefully you end the year in style at home and help us in our fight to stay up

That being said, it's very much in our hands with a win or a draw at home being enough to secure Division One Football next year

Very good fight from our boys yesterday, I was told the send off was actually after 8 minutes, so 82 minutes with 10 men - we also went a goal down

Must also say well done to Mags in goals, the penalty save was unbelievable

Story of our season, Knights had no shots on target yet a freak own goal splits the points. Had plenty of chances but couldn't put them away, on to next week.

Also forgot to mention a big well done to Craggsy the ref for doing the iced bucket challenge. He nominated Alan Mottram, Simmo from Ingle Farm and Sid from Parafield. So straight after the game Motts and himself sat in the goal mouth while a few of the players dumped 3 buckets over them...So well done to both of them.....

Was always going to be difficult for Knights to attack with their usual numbers playing most of the game with 10 men.
Had Knights conceded the goaL early and not lost a player early the game might have panned out differently.
Unfortunately, as Knights have learned all too well, games aren't won, lost or drawn on what ifs....the scoreline at the final whistle is all that matters.
