With all the money the SAASL has maybe one day they could invest in social media

Release the cup draw as it's done via Facebook / twitter
Notify clubs of yellow card accumulation suspensions the same week not 3 weeks later...

Far too sensible a suggestion.

If I was cynical I would suggest that keeping what is likely to be a big Downs crowd there all day is good for the coffers and that it looks like the SAASL is hoping for Saturday v Sunday finals.

I would suggest get there early watch the Ressie's, wander over to the Joiners Arms after have a counter meal and a few or a dozen bevy's then head back to watch the A'S in action. Looks like my day sorted. Any nipples on at the Land of Promise on a sunday? could be option 2. Looks like my day is sorted either way. Any other suggestions on a cheap counter meal and $5 pints in this area would be greatly appreciated....... 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Yeah you probably don't make it far in the cup being from a much lower division.

The last time I personally played against the Downs, it was at their ground.

Given my club is still involved in the cup this year, your sledge really didn't work.

Tell me which ground so I can bring two esky's to really take the mick..Same old argument and no club would be an orphan in this. For your info we have our own supporters that bring their own, what can you do about it, ring the cops.....Like Bosa...It was just a dig by pig rind bacon trying to act smart, tough, or just plain stupid....Here I come Hindmarsh with a bottle of jacks because pig rind bacon said so.....

I too am quite excited by the prospect of a full day drinking, it's almost like they knew which game to play first.
And what a cracker of a suggestion the countery is, see you there legga, I'll be the one in the bottle of shiraz stupid hat.
Should be a great game to watch and a good day out.

I didn't say that. You must be quoting someone else.

You talk about taking the mick, but seems you can't receive the mick.

And I was told that the Downs knew what banter was. Silly me.

I was at a cup round earlier in the season and heard them threatening to do exactly that. Sounds like they're getting some history of running to the police.
