Yes, it had been a while.

In the reserves Boas had their keeper sent off after just twelve minutes. Personally I thought it should have been yellow. Nevertheless the ten men of Bosa helf out for most of the half. They conceded one late in the half and trailed 0-1 at the break. Twelve minutes into the second half Downs were also reduced to ten men and could have easily been nine a minute later. Bosa equalised six minutes after the Downs went down to ten men and scored a second with about seventeen minutes to play. The Downs pulled it back to 2-2 late in the game and force extra time. There were no goals in extra time but a flurry of cards. The visitors pull away all their spot kicks to win it 4-5. Over all there wasn't much between to two sides.

In the first game Bosa were well on top but lacked a killer punch. Inter scored midway through the second half and with Bosa chasing the game gaps opened at the back and they were hit for a second.

Elizabeth Downs in the reserves is my guess, couple with being the only double header today.

Fair assessment of the games, however the B's Bosa keeper was a send off. The Downs player had already kick the ball over the bar, there was no reason for him to go through the player.

Asking Jeremy or me ?
For me it was the Downs Reserves and the fact that BOSA was the only double-header.
Enjoyed the change of scenery and chatting with a few old and new faces from around the SAASL.

Ressies BOSA vs Downs was a good hard game, Keeper was a Red in my opinion, BOSA done well too keep themselves in the game and didn't give up got 2-1 up but Downs done well to equalise! Extra time Downs had best chances in extra time, penalties were all well taken but Phil saved 1 and almost a 2nd.

I am not a big believer on deciding a game on penalties although it went our way.

Hope you got some good photo,s Swanny

I agree you are far better off winning in normal time.

Sturt 1 def Wanderers 0

Game of two halves really.
All Sturt early. Wanderers goalie could have easily been sent off inside 5mins (would have spoiled it though). Sturt went 1 nil up in the first half. Just on the whistle the Wanderers goalie went in for a ball and copped a boot and or ball to the face. Apparently friendly fire but 2-3 players right there. Was taken off at the half and went to hospital. Hope he is ok.
Second half Wanderers chased the result. Had a few good chances but Sturt held their nerve.
Thanks to Wanderers lads for sticking around as always and enjoying a feed.

Good luck to them for season proper.

I'm guessing they didn't pull another three back since Nuggett isn't on here posting.

Hahaha with the amount of money that gardens has spent on players this result must be a total disappointment to them. Maybe next year they should look at quality players and not over paid prima-donnas

That's a bit of a silly first post mate.

I'm not bitter and I don't suck. I have no affiliation to gardens either and have never been interested in playing there. I'm just stating what many other have said it's just I'm the only one with the balls to say it out loud. First post this may be but trust me I have been reading this forum for awhile and gardens players and supporters are quick to put other teams down. Maybe this is a case of the truth hurting?

Nah, you just sound like a complete prick, Cantona 7 isn't with Gardens neither am I but respect them as a team and club. Oh and you don't have the balls to say it out loud, you have the balls to write on a forum under a nickname wow
