Another good grind to get the win. Could've had a few more, but will keep taking 1 nil wins for the rest of the year.
Maco's put up a pretty good fight (pun intended :D ) & should stay up I reckon.
Another incident with Easties invloved  a club not known for this, new players or same person again.

When was the first incident?

Played Easties many times, never had any hint of trouble, always hard but fair

Also all this crap re the Saggs brothers, 2 great players who would be welcome at any Amateur Club

Have 0% interest in East just sick of reading about them from a person who obviously has an issue

Thanks to the ttg boys for coming in after the game for a beer too..

Pretty disappointed in Ian Smith though. Refused to shake my hand after the game. Yes there were some tough challenges in the game but to not shake the opposition coaches hand is piss weak in my opinion.. oh well.

Oh and what was with ttg bringing their own cartons of beer to the game?? Do they do this for all away games? Pretty poor form again!!!
There were some tough challenges and then there were ridiculous challenges, and the one in question was ridiculous, it was the 4th challenge put on the gully player that was over the top and proved to be the one that sidelined the gully player who was taking the piss out of the east boys.
Not sure about the cartons brought in but personally and the ones I was with we put our fair share over your overpriced bar, thanks for an entertaining day of football, see you on the last day of the season.
Agree with not shaking hands being poor, what happens on the park stays on the park.

So what's the official reason this game was "postponed"?

Was it because the pitch was in such dire condition or because West Beach didn't have a full team?
It was "postponed" because "the" bottom corner was "officially" under water.

Yep couple of good games up the gully yesterday, a few handy additions from the last time we met, thanks to a decent brahma crowd for supporting the club and special thank you to our sponsor SEM civil for getting a backhoe driver on short notice to clean up the mess after the brahma crew

Nothing to tell LRO.. Few boys took exception to each others actions. Pushy pushy shovey shovey and it was all over and everyone went home. End of story.

Was the bottom corner still underwater for the A & B teams? Yes.

Did those two games go ahead? Yes.

Happy to organise a replay provided you can field a full team and not stack it with reserves.

When u don't take any of ur 10 clear chances including a missed penalty u don't tend to win the game. Grove took their chances and their keeper was a stand out. I'm sure if u ask the grove boys they will chuckle about how they stole the points. Thems the breaks.
