Well played to the A's, it was not our night after Marco was taken to hospital.
No word yet on the extent of his injury.

A round with a few injuries between the sides across the 3 matches - hope the Wanderers bloke with the cut to his head from the Cs game is ok.

What a shambles! When I arrived the home team was painting the lines from a spray can. They were getting kitted up in their cars in their Liverpool kits. Prince Alfred had already kitted up into their 70's Arsenal kit (red, white sleeves). By rights the home team should have had an alternative kit but didn't and left Prince Alfred to scramble around for a second kit. Eventually they did and the game kicked off about ten minutes late. The visitors had most of the early running but ended up going a goal down. Angkor scored two more as Alfred continued to put a few open goals wide. They pulled it back to 3-1 before half time. After the break they brought it back to 3-3. Angkor changed their keeper with about five to go and made it 4-3 with what could have been the last kick of the game. Alfred took the kick off and blasted a shot from the centre circle which flew over the keeper's head. The original keeper probably would have saved it. As the home side took the kick off the referee blew full time.

Much like the first game Prince Alfred did most of the early running. They made it 0-1 and Angkor hardly looked like scoring until two minutes before half time. In the second half they scored two quick goals to lead 3-1 and looked comfortable for a while. Prince Alfred pulled it back to 3-3 before a defender from the home team talked himself into two yellow cards and was given his marching orders, then took an eternity to dawdle off the pitch. The visitors then got a winner.

Only 19 stitches above the eye - Russ will live.
Marco who was injured early in the A's game thankfully hasn't broken anything!

Sturt vs JETS
A's 1-1 jets just couldn't get the ball in the net in the end good goal keeping by both keepers after 1st keeper got sent off from sturt for hand ball.chasing a ball then doing his hammy and fell over n punched the ball out near corner flag...so hilarious to see.
B's 2-1
C's 8-2 I think. jets with 7 players to start n ended with 9 couldn't fill the team.
Cheers for the food after the game sturt

Angkor Hornbill 3 Prince Alfred 4
Why did the referee let the game to go ahead. SAASL competition rules state home team changes. Only way to deal with clubs who don't comply with competition rules is the referee to have guts and call the game off. Promblem is that referees only care about getting pad.

With all due respect it was only an issue in the reserves game, not the one you listed a result for.

I think you will find that the referee would get paid whether the game went ahead or not. So let's stop trying to blame the referee who would have had to cancel the game if an alternative strip could not be found. The only blame here should be directed at the home team for not having an alternative strip and not by taking a heap shot at the official. If the referee had cancelled the game no doubt you would be complaining at the referee was a stickler for the rules by cancelling the game and twenty plus players had to go home without playing their weekly fix of football.

Cougars 2 OTH 1 (a)
Cougars 5 OTH 1 (b)

Great results for both teams considering 4 injuries, 4 overseas and 2 players who have abandoned our club when we needed them the most, we still picked up the W in both games!!!
That's the Cougar spirit lads!!! Back to winning ways!!

Yes would people really want to win a Reserve match by forfeit? Due to a clash? Very small minded if the case
