Friendly results from this weekend

Post by DonDownUnder »

...or not so friendly if you like.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hahndorf 3 - 2 Mt Compass. (ht: 0-2)

Compass were pretty poor in the first half, but turned things around in the second and looked much more lively. Some good football in spells from both sides.

Hahndorf are young and quick, and they move the ball well. They'll cause problems for anyone.

Thanks to Brendan and all the lads at Hahndorf for hosting.

Cobras vs PAC (formerly East Adelaide)

A's 2-3
B's 2-3
C's 2-10

PAC are a good side, will do well in Div 3 this year. Shaping as a good year, with Childsy & co back at RBE they'll be right up there, Monarchs & Lion having some impressive pre-season results, will be a tight comp.

If RBE do indeed have a lot of the boys from a couple years ago back then I say that they'll go straight back up

I went to watch Munno para ,angle vale
Angle vale unlucky not to win hit post and cross bar
Munno para apparently got lots injuries , not sure who
But they lack upfront second half looked ok but first half was terrible ,
They look as tho they will struggle div 2
Angle vale I thought looked ok , not sure why everyone else smashing them
But good crowd and angle vale complex is great
Condition were terrible wind, rain might have something to do with quality of play

Salisbury Villa C's 2-0 Adelaide Vikings

A close game and was still 0-0 until the last 10 mins with both teams pushing up. Vikings tired and conceded on counter attacks. Both were great finishes and the No10 took them well

Vikings passing and movement looked good but their finishing let them down. Salisbury Villa C's are a lively side with pace up front.

Thanks again to the Villa boys for hosting us at short notice. Really enjoyed the run out.

Thanks to Uni for the hit out. A good result for MLSC in our first game against a team playing in a similar division.

Goal fest. With those Evans boys playing together, Gully should go OK this year.

Inter v Macedonia

A's
Inter 9 - 5 Maso (5-1)

B's
Inter 6 (I think) - 1 Maso (0-1)

Maso down 4-0 within half hr, could say something was salvaged but plenty to work on for sure.
