MU Findon and Madison Park

Looking at some old Federation Cup scores from 1977 the other day, it's interesting to see how some SAASL clubs were superior to many Federation clubs.

MU Findon, SAASL champions that year, thrashed 3rd division Federation club WRE 9-1, before losing 2-0 to 2nd div Port Adelaide in the next round.

Madison Park, who were SAASL runners-up, thrashed 3rd div Federation club Flinders Uni 7-0, then beat 2nd div Don 3-2, before losing only on penalties to 1st div Campbelltown-Budapest in the 3rd round.

Wonder how SAASL clubs would go today against Federation clubs? (other than Gawler :lol: )
