Trials 9/10 March

Post by jogger »

I hope all clubs have started re-arranging their KO times for this weekend. The forecast is for 34/35 so all games will have to be played early/late again.

Elizabeth Downs v Southern Knights.... in talks re 5:00pm & 7:00pm kick offs.

Might lose a few travellers with those times...but should be a good evenings football if we can bring a full side !

True but considering the guess for Monday is 38 you would think it is more than likely going to be a hot weekend.

Also need to plan ahead if you are going to drive 70+kms to a game with a possible 4 hour difference in kick-off times. :D

Why would you need an esky for away games.....most home clubs have a bar

It looks like the games will be Reserves kick-off @ 5:00pm and A's kick-off @ 7:00pm.
Gets rid of the uncertainty about what flight to catch to the north !
Hopefully some good banter and football on the night.....

Game changes could be a tad premature, weather seems to be fairly unsettled and the forecast has changed drastically for the next few days.

Showers now forecasted for the next 3 days, Saturday is 34, Sunday is 33.

Nothing has changed - it is still 33 or above so hot weather policy applies.

Those who wait miss out - change the times now like we have and you don't have to watch the weather forecast every night hoping it will be 32.

The advertiser has said tomorrow will 34c
Therefore under the SAASL Hot Weather Policy no game can be played between 11-5
