Shortage of Goalkeepers ?

Seems to be a shortage of GK around the place, just wondering if clubs should offer GK free registration, but they have to provide their own gear ?

Thats because they all think they have some hidden talent as a striker and are playing on the field somewhere.

At pumas we have 6 gks for 3 teams bit of competition which is good for me.

It's because in juniors nobody wants to be a keeper they all want to be on the park
It will get harder to find good keepers and that it why we have some
in Div 1 that should have hung the gloves up long ago !!

Was really only referring to myself being frustrated at being "old" !
Which Division 1 (Premier Division ?) goalkeepers are old ?

It is also very difficult to have more than one goalkeeper in a junior side and not every junior goes on to play seniors. That being said my juniors over the past 3 years have had to take turns in goals because some junior teams have two keepers and would rather play a keeper on the pitch rather than let them go to another team.
