I stand to be corrected, but I think it may have been in our cabinet for the last three years there Legga. Unfortunately its a little hard to tell because we have so much cramped in the cabinet, there could one hidden behind the six odd league champions trophies. I suppose it would stand out in your relatively barren 50 year old cabinet.

We've won that much for so long it does all tend to get a little blurred. It would be kind of nice if someone from another club does win it. If Pauly wins it again they should give it to him to keep.

I reckon your busload may leave a little dissappointed with Jonesy taking it on the night. The Downs boys have probably taken points off each other.

Ref's see??
Evidently! Maybe you could give us an insight as to what the Ref's look at when giving their BOG.
Bright orange F50's, dreadlocks or long bleached hair, anyone willing to thank the referee last after the game(thats how Boothy won Div 1 player of the year in the early 90s)

Keegan very dominant in the Para games i saw this year but you had a few others who could have taken points of him in the other 16 games
things happen for a reason

My recollection of Boothy winning the medal was every 5-10 minutes telling the ref how good a game they were both having and before the game telling the ref "great to see you thought we might get a referee that wasn't up to the standard" Was a good night in town after he won it though all the girls coming up to us asking what his medal was for and from memory it was for playing for australia

So how is it we will be disappointed picking up the championship trophy, let's not forget how much you have won this year or do you want to blur that out as well. As for not seeing into the cabinet maybe if you cleaned off the asbestos dust you might be able to. You also in your wisdom claim they may take points off each other so the possibilities of a 1' 2 finish are......Enjoy your moment in 2012's shadow after winning naff all.......Winners are grinders and losers are just that........  Off to enjoy presentation night tonight I will get back to you and let you know how the winners are going....

Andrew Lindsay scooped the awards at the Downs last night. Jason Trimboli was Top Goalscorer
Whilst Chase (Kraig) Andrews blitzed Mark Kelly for Reserves B&F.

Yeah happens all the time.... The top teams have alot of good players that always take votes off eachother.... I played in div 4 Sunday about 5 years ago and the player off the year went to the goal keeper from central city tigers that conceded 147 goals for the season haha

Without any disrespect to the others shortlisted and whilst Nathan Day as an ornament to the Amateur League would certainly be a winner worthy of such an award Andrew Lindsay has been truly outstanding this year and should take it out at a canter.

A predictably predictable prediction....amazingly after the first 10 rounds Elizabeth Downs had no names on the leader board despite winning 9 games and having 32 goals for and 8 against.
