Any clubs still looking for players?

Post by muscat2 »

I got a mate looking for a club. He's a descent player but hasn't played for a few years so low on fitness. Wants to play reserves or C grade.

Torrens Valley are always looking. Where is he based? We are based in Birdwood, about 25 mins from TTP.

We are in Div 4 and really struggling with injuries at the moment.

He lives around Hindmarsh but The Valley is probably a bit far for training and playing.

Seaford always looking for new players. Injuries and work commitments are taking their toll.
I'm guessing Seaford is a bit far to come from hindmarsh though. We play Sunday div 3

Polonia is relatively close to Hindmarsh ;)

Great club outside of playing too! Trainings are Wednesday night at 7pm at Croydon King's home ground on South Road.

I think there are a few of us in that boat....Why I found it hard to believe when someone on here said they were having trouble finding a club.

+1 Can't believe it for a mintue. Even us (so called bigger clubs/numbers wise) are struggling a bit at the moment, I know we would always except new players even happy to deals on reduced fees for reduced games

Tell me about it. I had a gig there I think 12 years ago, and the keeper had an icy cold 6 pack of VB Stubbies in the goals... Could be Kolobaras's twin?
