New home ground for the Pontian Eagles

Pontian Eagles will be playing all their home games at headquarters - corner of trimmer parade and military rds Grange - for the remainder of the year, starting this Sunday bs the downs. Club would like to thank Olympic FC for their assistance over the last 4 years.

Sorry for the late notice to he downs players and supporters

Full bar and canteen will be available, eskys will be confiscated :wink:

Thanks m8 I was going to head for olympics ground tomorrow . Hope the pontians have a good start at there new Home.good luck 8)

That's a shame, you guys had a great set up there....Was it your choice to go to grange or was
your hand forced?

Well the venue has 3 pitches so between Saturday and Sunday it can accomodate up to 6 clubs......

And if you've ever played at Cowandilla you'll see why we're moving to greener pastures....

That's bad luck Karman Ghia I feel very sorry for Clubs like yourselves that dont have there own Home Ground or Club Rooms. Maybe you should talk to Vikings merge & become the Pontian Eagle Vikings they have a Fantasic ground & Good facilities they just dont have anyone using them it :shock:

Correct Rexie.... Wonderers are using the facilities Saturdays and the Vikings on Sundays.
