BOSNA Appeal
The article from the Messenger suggested that BOSNA had not lodged an appeal against their expulsion.
Can anyone from BOSNA or anyone in the know, confirm this or otherwise?

Re: BOSNA Appeal
I believe that the League needs to make it perfectly clear - again, what Clubs responsibilities are as in Protection for Referees & Match Officials, what the Clubs Ground Marshall's & Senior Club Officials responsibilities on game day and more importantly what are the concequences on the Club for failure to adhere to these Policies!
These Policies & Penalties for not adhering to them, obviously need to be SPELT OUT TO CLUBS AGAIN!

Re: BOSNA Appeal
Article in the Sunday Mail said that Bosna had lodged an appeal and it will be heard within 21 days.
Hope they get told to go where the sun don't shine.

Re: BOSNA Appeal
I will firstly say that I didnt know much about what had happened (Reaf footballnews and messenger etc),
I have read the leter of appeal from Bosna
I know they SAASL have kicked them out (With right to appeal)
BUT
Letter is very well written BUT the content sound like excuses and blaming SAASL, NOT AN Explanation of what happened. The most telling piece of info was in point 4 "Not knowing who the spectator is/was". I think this is the biggest point, give the person up and ban him from your club would have added weight to your appeal.

I read it too. I didn't read any explanation of what happened, only them wanting to refute the other stories.Left Right Out wrote:I will firstly say that I didnt know much about what had happened (Reaf footballnews and messenger etc),

If they put their version of events to the SAASL, that should refute anything that the other parties said. They shouldn't need to see what others said happened.
What if they truly don't know who it is? They can't exactly give them up then.
Too many spelling errors to consider it "very well written".
Re: BOSNA Appeal
Based on your comments about their appeal, shouldn't they be addressing the fact that they have brought the game into disrepute ( the coach deciding to pull the team off the ground and not returning whilst the game was still going).
Put the violence aside they should be banned for above, our club knows all of our supporters.

Re: BOSNA Appeal
i was at the game, 2 feet from the incident, the spectator who hit the ref is known to bosna as he kept drinking with them after the incident and was wearing a bosnian national team jacket, and i think they forget the saasl comitee were at the game too and saw the whole thing, sounds like a dumb move by bosna to act this naiveLeft Right Out wrote:I will firstly say that I didnt know much about what had happened (Reaf footballnews and messenger etc),

Hopefull not protecting 1 person as opposed to protecting the "whole" Club's viability ?

Re: BOSNA Appeal
In my opinion
it doesnt sound like there is enough meat in the argument to warrant the SAASL from adjusting their current stance.

in my opinion knowing that the saasl saw the incident nothing is going to change their stanceBeogradGeneralsC's wrote:In my opinion

Re: BOSNA Appeal
Surely they didn't expect Cichanowski to step in and tell the ref how to do his job?
