I agree with you there Jack. Ric doesn't just ask you to do the drills he get's involved himself. Wouldn't doubt that he will coach and be successful at the highest level as well.

It's very subjective but in my time at PARAFIELD GARDENS it would definatley be Barrie Cook closely followed by his son Steve, both fantasic Man Managers great communicators, & very cool & calm in the changerooms & on the side lines. (unlike some nightmares)
Steve has a Awesome coaching record, in just 3 years he has Achived
a SUNDAY DIV.1 League Championship, 2 Challenge Cups, 2 Chicanowski Shields, a Champion of Champions & 2 Mayors Cups...
He would defiantly have one of the best coaching records in the SAASL in the last few years...

Barrie Cook for me at Brahma. Very very good with player management and getting the best out of every player.

Have to be Peter Buckley at Stirling... Wasn't everyone's cup of tea (I actually enjoyed his coaching but knew of a few who didn't) but he delivered titles. You can't argue with the results the club had under him....

Did have a lot of help though with players he brought over from the Hills Hawks.

I wasn't bagging him. I was just saying. It must be said though that these players were far better than you're usual Saturday Div 2 (where Stirling were when he arrived) player. If he had the power to bring em over, Good on him, the club benefited from it big time. (We did the double (A's & B's) that season and then went onto to win Div 1 down the track....

At Ingle Farm its hard to go past Paul Simpson has won Div 3 & Div 2 titles as well as winning the clubs first ever major trophy in 2009.

In saying that, most would agree that I am the best coach

Don't have to have results to be a good coach. I realise that this is what they are measured by. In my opinion it is the coaches knowledge and management skills that make him a good coach. As lisbon Lion said about Bob Clarke Snr if he didn't have the quality but got the best out of each of his players that makes him a good coach
