A: Monarchs 1 Vipers FC 1
B: Monarchs 1 Vipers FC 4 (not sure on final score here)

Good hit-out for both teams to get the cobwebs out.

Don't think either team was concerned with the scoreline today, the general play kept both happy, except for a few tackles. Good to see a great mix of old and new in the As today for Vipers.

Ingle Farm V Tea Tree Gully

A's 4-4
Didn't see the game as I was off to Hindmarsh. We were 3 nil down, came back to go 4-3 up and then conceeded in the last minute. Haven't been told how we played.

B's
3 (or 4) - 1
Was working the bar so I missed Outlaw's goal.

C's
2-0
Ordinary game. We strung about 4-5 good bits of play together and looked ok in patches but the heat and lack of fitness showed. Some promising signs though.

Cheers to Gully for the games.

Ingle Farm were missing several regulars and had a few patch up jobs all over the pitch, not an excuse by any stretch. Farm started off very slowly and Gully caught out a very slow backline with a quick counter attack or two. It did take a while for some of the new guys to settle in and once they found their feet Farm started to link up well. Went three nil up and really eased off (possibly due to the heat) Farm pegged back 3 goals but still didn't get out of first gear with all three going in at a very slow pace. I left shortly after to attend Hindmarsh but was not surprised with the end result. :x

B's
3 (or 4) - 1
Was working the bar so I missed Outlaw's goal.
Some very good signs for both B's sides in this one with Farm controlling much of the game through the middle of the park. Tea Tree Gully seemed to lack that ball into the final third though. A very good game to watch as a neutral I was told, with both sides not holding back on a scorching day. The first three quarters were played at a frantic pace until everyone realized how hot it was and the fourth was like watching a Dads Army game. It's ok Jay I forgive you for missing my goal it was only a toe poke anyway :D

C's
2-0
Ordinary game. We strung about 4-5 good bits of play together and looked ok in patches but the heat and lack of fitness showed. Some promising signs though.
A very ordinary game to watch however considering the conditions and how early it is in the year both C's side would have taken alot away from this game. Certainly plenty more work to do however before the season starts. Ingle Farm were missing a few of their regular players due to laziness.

Cheers to Gully for the games.
A very big thanks to TTG for the three games, given the fact that there was an A-League final on and it was ridiculously hot both clubs did a very good job to make it all happen. Good luck to TTG in Div 3 this year. Also a big thank you to Our B team Coach Anto who was good enough to assist Jay walker in the C's then step up to coach both the A's and B's yesterday as well as Leon who refereed the C's and A's

Totsredso8, i think you guys(monarchs) will easily win the Div 3 title this year. How is your squad looking this year as
oppose to last year? Have you gained any new players or lost any? You might even start in Div 2 this year with the Hawks moving into Div 1 if the rumours about the Wanderers are true.

Not happening.

Wanderers will field two teams.

However Hawks will be one of the teams to mount a big challenge for promotion I think.

Monarchs A's looked very sharp for this time of year, was quite surprised actually.

You seemed to be missing your striker that has some quality about him, a smaller guy, is he still with you guys?

He was a step above our C side last year when we played you guys, Scored 3 goals. Could only imagine he was filling in or coming back from injury.
