Southern Knights
SAASL Sunday Division 2
Established in 1995

Southern Knights - SAASL Division 2, have appointed Dave Martin as Senior Coach for the 2011 season.
Dave has a wealth of Coaching experience at many levels of football.
Pre-season will commence this Friday, January 14th. at 7:00pm.

With their home ground located at Galloway Road, O'Sullivan Beach Southern Knights share
an excellent and vibrant community facility with South Adelaide Panthers,
Pink Panthers, Scorpion Judo, Southern Knights Boxing and Southern Districts Cricket Juniors.

Is he a 'legend' of the club? All round nice guy? Good looking intelligent and a great player in his day?

yes he loves the Knights, can't wait to start pre-season with him, only got sent off once this year (at home as well!) hopefully under his guidance I can aim for 3 or 4 send offs :wink:

That's better....great news...to have someone with Dave Martin's football experience and credentials and knowledge of football in the southern areas shouls help Knights achieve their potential.

Yeah, he coached the junior state teams for a few years.

Having watched a few of Dave's training sessions so far, you can see why he is so highly rated.
Always introducing new drills that seem to keep players working...and enjoying them.
Totally organised sessions....no street runs or lap after lap running.
And you even get to use a "ball" for 95% of the session :o
With no training on Wednesday next week (Australia Day), hopefully there will be bigger numbers out on the Friday.

Fantastic trainer. Knights are my tip to go up with Davey at the helm. All else fails the boys will have a laugh every training anyway!!

Next Friday 28th -we are having a 7-a-side competition 6.30pm kick off - past (including last years pretty boys), present and potential players welcome - teams will be arranged on a 'scratch match' basis

No entry fee and $100 bar voucher for winning team
