A late goal from Knights substitute Dustin McMahon in the 95th minute stretched Knights unbeaten league run to 5 games.
To go through a re-building stage mid-season has been tough but has brought out the true character of the club.
The addition of Adam Djekic, Gary Craggs and Damien Bretones will bolster Knights armoury.
Hopefully the improving spirit of Knights will firm up the club's foundations and see them in good stead for the rest of 2010 and forwards.
The game was played in somewhat slippery conditions (weren't they all this weekend ?) and saw Port Pirie have the better of Knights in the first half.
Like the away encounter in Round 3, Knights fought back from being behind 1-2 to a lead of 3-2.
Pirie contered well and equalised in the 85th minute, however, Knights pushed and found a winner in the closing stages.

Lee White and Gary Craggs had their work cut out chasing Pirie's young forwards.
Despite the heavily chopped up surface, Brayden Leske and Matt Daughtry featured in some good interplay in the first half.
Pirie's keeper makes an excellent save to deny Knights the opening goal of the encounter.
Pirie take a 0-1 lead with a well taken goal driven firmly from 20 metres.
Stephen Mag-U-ire (no 16) watches his curling free kick avoid the outstretched Pirie keeper to level the game at 1-1.
Knights almost take the lead as a David Mooney strike from a close free kick canons off the cross bar.
Ben "Touch" Vidgeon at first denies Pirie but is unable to hold them out later after an un-characteristic defensive mistake from Knights see Pirie take a 1-2 lead.

David Mooney and Scott Bradley lifted in the second half to give Knights a bit more drive.
Both teams still created chances in a free-flowing game.
Pirie made it 3-3 from the penalty spot at around the 85th. minute.
Despite the descending darkness Dustin McMahon is able to drive the ball into Pirie's goal to give Knights a 4-3 victory.
