sunday div 2 B'S top goal scorers
as its not on the web site i was wondering how the goal scorers are going for the b's.
i think vista's top goal getter has 13.
though being suspended for the last 3 games he might struggle to get more.(right muppet he is)

Its Enzo Scifo... 1 - 0 to Belgium!!!
haven't we always mate, been at vista for way too long and the ref situation has always been the same, except that the ref's we had 16 years ago are now 16 years older,we had bob(captain birdseye) at the weekend and he made some sumwhat strange decisions, and really struggled to keep up with play.

wandered down to watch para hills and salisbury utd a few weeks ago and was shocked to see two plain clothed linesman in the u23's and u19's.
In my old Modbury days we always had two proper linesman for ALL matches, not once didnt we. Sounds like the referee problem isnt just in the amateurs but right thru soccer.
Who can blame them, I spoke to a mate of mine the other week who was doing a SAASL div 5 match who was telling me he was flykicked during a match by one of the players.
There should be 4 divisions in SAASL, the other clubs can go. Its about time the amateur league worked it out IMO.
In those 4 divisions, all teams should have a C Team and matches should be played all together to lessen the referee situation.

The refereering situation is the biggest issue facing the amateur league in particular. Some referees have been around for quite a while and to be frank are past it.
The league is unable to attract new referees and who could blame referees for not taking on the job.
I think most referees expect to cop a bit of criticism but some people go way too far, no one should have to tolerate physical violence. Even some of the abuse is threatening.
Very few people stand up for the referees (btw I am a current player) and if the situation does not alter I can see the amateur league fading in the years to come. Home team reserve referees is diabolical and as a player it is terrible to play in ressies as a result.
