I'd be interested to see how the squads will be determined, as there are a few boys in our squad who could get a run.

Unless there is a standout from a lower division then yes, one would assume it would be a side made up from the premier division sides....

Did you get a selection letter Fresh, is that how you know about this?
DB reckons it's going to be tough selecting a squad of 14 or 15 players when you could easily select 5 or 6 each from Villa, BOSA, Wanderers & Saints. Plus quite a few from the other teams in the league.

So will anyone like to name a few names who might be in the squad???
I have only seen a few teams this year who played saints. Possible names to throw in the mix:
excuse the spelling of a few names

Gale - saints
Oliver - saints
Paines - saints
Saggs- saints
baker - saints

Tasovac - Wanderers
more from wanderers but dont know the names

Musci?? - striker from villa
Scalzi - Villa
Karapets - Villa

Paterson - BOSA

Hutchinson - Mod Jets

The 2 central defenders from Stirling werent to bad either

Like i said i only really watch saints games and dont know too many names......

Africa could provide the club referee as their referee is quite good.
Who would you play in goal?
Does Kevin Rudd refer to his genitals as the stimulus package?

Torrens Valley's goalkeeper should get an invite. He is outstanding. (This is a serious post.)

Kitchimo in the Sat Div 4 thread wrote:We are to blame for that. The keeper that they had last year played against us in Rd 1. He injured his ankle in the first half, so at half time they put that guy in goal - and he was UNBELIEVABLE! He stopped double figures at Glenunga in Rd 8. I told him that if he ever came to live in Adelaide he was more than welcome at OISC - would not look out of place in Division 1 or semi-professionally.

Why isn't Eric Norman coaching????
He usually comes out of the woodwork whenever there is an Amateur League junket on.

The Collegiate team beat a country team as a curtain raiser to 1st Adelaide United game a couple weeks ago, they are coached by Jim Muir who is coach of Pembroke now as well.

They looked alright, but I reckon the SAASL boys will have to much for them!!!

Do not underestimat the strength of the Collegiate League. Some very good 'soccer' schools, and they have a catchment area that few amatuer clubs venture into due to lack of grounds (essentially the whole East side from San Marco down past us to Unley).

The two coaches picked the team. Which in theory is pretty rough cos that dave mogg bloke shouldnt be there.   He must have had a decent game against saints (which he did) and sturt. Na good work buddy.
I thought hutchy would have been a good pick.
