Over 35s Ingle Farm 1 v Elizabeth Downs 2
Downs overturned a 1-0 half time deficit and ran out winners despite getting the worst of some questionable linesman calls. Fair to say the better team won, Downs midfield excelling with two very well taken goals, and good game played on a pitch that certainly doesn't help legs that have many miles in them!

B's - Salisbury Inter 2 - Elizabeth Vale 1 (Vale were 1 up and looking the goods after half hour but couldnt keep up the performance. Inters first goal was partially due to luck as the ball bounced in front of a diving Vale keeper, who had the ball well and truely covered, until it bounced 3 foot high and over him. Ball was hit well from outside the box though. 3 points went to the team that wanted it more...)

Our worst performance of the year, seriously did not string together 3 passes all day. No excuses just a really poor effort today. I cant remember more than one shot on goal all day, the first time this year we have failed to score in a game.

Knights just couldn't get it together today, some of the lads still hurting (physically and mentally) from last weeks cup loss.
Also having keeper Steve MacGuire out suspended, Mark Kay away with work and Matty Harrison missing due to a family function didn't help the settling process.
