Hadn't heard that one, 22 games plus cup, will they be starting later or finishing earlier? Also I think if they make a major change it should be for the year after that way everyone knows what's happening and what to play for i.e. if 4 teams go up from a Division and you finish 5th by a point etc or worse if you finish 3rd or 4th bottom and go down! If you knew at start of season fair enough but to find out later - like they did to State League would be shocking

Would not like a 12 team league, as Knight7 says 22 games plus cup, thats a bit too long a season. They should stick to 10.

Agreed, clubs should be informed at beginning of season of any changes.

Why don't they go to 8 teams and have a "finals series" ? Top 4 (league winner gets auto promotion and it gives the other 3 teams a chance at promotion, similar with a play-off scenario for the bottom 4.

Just an idea. :D

Its soccer .. not AFL.

I like the way soccer is set up with whoever wins the league, wins it.

12 team leagues ? The Grove still could get promotion after all :o
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Would be great to have 22 games a season, back home, used to play around 38 league games and 5 cups, can never be too many games if ye love playin soccer.

I guess Vista would then have a chance of finally going up to DIV 1 cos they always seem to finish out on missing the top 2 and getting in DIV 1 that way

12 teams is a good idea, not only do we play more football, it gives the clubs more home games therefore more revenue raised at bar, canteen. It is only 4 more games! This subject was put to amateur prez a few years back only to be told that a lot of clubs could'nt as there are a lot of clubs sharing grounds with cricket clubs which would overlap seasons.

That might mean that there will only b 4 divisions in the sunday league (not including the C team divisions) i dunno, it might work but i like things the way they are now
And if by chance an honest man such as yourself should make enemies then they would become my enemies, and then they would fear you

Too many clubs are uncertain on their future, etc. I think it should remain as is. You dont want to over complicate things for the federation. How would they cope?

Robbo, the team that finishes first still goes up, its the other teams that have a chance of promotion...............but you're right it will never catch on in the Super League or Premier League or State League

That could deffinately catch on Bulldog. Im sure some great friendshipes would develop playing the same Muppet every week. Wouldnt that make the amateur league such a happy league to play in. that would be ace! :D just to use a few of your favourite words!!!

Limnos v Masos 18 times a season, would be an interesting variation of ethnic cleansing
