Satuday vs Sunday

Just wondering what you guys think the tougher or better league to play in is....the saturday divisions or sunday divisions....persoanlly ive played in both and id say from what ive seen that the saturday league has a better standard of play and looks more apealing to play in...but just wondernig what the overal feel is around the ameture league and what you guys think...

pfft saturday is for uncos, just ask arxidi. I would only rate the top 5-6 teams in the sat div1...

everybody else .... light years behind!

Agree, top half of Sat Div 1 are decent but that's about it.

being generous saying 5-6 though. maybe 2-3

Both are crap.

Made up of too many prima donna's that take them selves too serious and club's that think they can qualify for the Tokyo World Cup.

Over 35's best league by far.

id say if the amatuer league got there act together and pulled together a decent state side they could give a few teams in the super league a hidding. i reckon its the same in both. the 1st div obviously is the best and it just gets terrible the further down you go.

Yeah i have played in both, sat div 1 and sun 3 and 2.

I would have to say div 1 sat was more like a avg team in div 3. (exceptions apply)

I have played in Sunday league for a few years now. Being in Div1 and 2. We have played many saturday teams in our cup games, all be it not the top sides, but still div1. I can say in my opinion the sunday league has more depth. Sunday div2 this year must be the strongest i have seen for a long time. All teams in this league are competetive (besides from Limnos

). Div1 is always hard. Same goes and every team goes the distance and is tough all game long. Saturday div1 seems like it is all good for the top team but struggles and low div1 and div2. I think this is pretty much what everyone else feels. Cup games are a good (the only) indication and i wonder if anyone could find stats on sat vs sun cup games and see how they come out.

who ever thinks sat div1 is a better league obviously hasn't played sun div1,if you did week in week out, you,d quickly change your mind!!!

Sun div1 by far the toughest league!!
