Ben Jones - Southern Knights (quality footballer, works harder than any other player i've seen in the league... your a star Jonesy!).

No.10 for Raptors - Very nice touch on him, good distribution.

Young lad up front for Pontian (No.9 i think)... Very quick, and netted twice against us with some very good moves.

No.10 from Raptors - plays too deep tho.
Jones from Knights is up there
No.9 Pontian
No.11 Vista
There are about 5-6 others aroound that copete for the No.5 spot - the wirey guy at knights upfront, the right winger for Pontian...
and me.

N Simpson.
D Simspon.
Nathan (central midfielder from west beach) Mcgair i think.
M Simpson.
J Manca.
No.9 from pontians not bad and didnt get to see jones at knights, sorry guys.....

The guy who played upfront for Raptors - ex-metro player he said who set up the 2nd against Vista, think number 8 or 9........Woodsy from the Gully.......Nathan left winger from West Beach would be 3 of them
The guy formerly known as "Sweet Mate Productions"

Alot of quality players in this div. Few that have stood out for me would be:

R. Williams - Mod Vista - Alot of potential for this young winger and on the weekend against the Vikings ge showed us what he is capable of when he dominted and had a blinder.

D. Simpson - TTG - Very skillfull player who looks in control with the ball and has done and will cause alot of teams trouble throughout the season.

Pontians young striker - Great player, quick and very skillfull.

Southern Knights Striker (Tall Bloke, Short Hair) - Hard in for the ball and works very hard.

N. Simpson (TTG)
D. Simpson (TTG)
J. Manca (West Beach)
T. Anastasiou (Pontians)
M. Simpson (Vista)

Also Ashley James from West Beach would be up there.

Nice first topic to begin with D M .....i'm surprised no ones even mentioned your name yet, but you gotta be close to one of the top 5 players in the league , if you get fit.

1 good game duth not maketh RW worthy of a top 5 spot, the question is can RW string 2 good games together, i'd have to say no to be honest.

agreed. you have to do more than play one good game to deserve a spot in top 5 with the quality in div 2 this year. give him two or three years at this level then we'll revisit the subject. talented young man though, more talented than me  .

Yeah Harry, Grouse was looking as sharp as a tack although Long Bomb was the best entertainer of the night.. He was like a young Zidane!!And he only costs a can of red bull and a Mars bar...

I reckon Div 1/State is where he should be...

I have ordered matching socks now for all the B team.

Your spot on about Long Bomb. At one point as he floated down the wing I actually shed a tear. Such grace and beauty.

Nice One Grouse..Don't think they will match the Red or Blue jerseys??

I reckon, he isn't getting a fair go for the A's though. We should have a word with the boss.. He did one move last night that was like Ardiles's flick out of Escape to Victory, it was even in Slow motion!
