Northern Amateurs Vs Salisbury United
I have a topic in General Football about Salisbury being bottom and how they possibly could have appointed a Coach from the Amatuer League (Earl Pudler) but Northern Federation Clubs dont seem to have any respect for Div 1 Sunday Amateurs. I started listing guys from The Northern Areas who Salisbury would benefit from but never seem to approach the likes of Tony Reeves, Ross Taylor, John Hopkins, Shane Golder, Streve Ingham, Ian Kirk, Colin Griffiths, Chris Nicholls, Daniel Nicholls, Matt Peace. Im sure theres more!! Salisbury are bottom and I think its a shame. Just wanted your thoughts as to WHY Sunday Amateurs arent taken seriously by Federation Clubs?? The Downs beat Nourlunga then Nourlunga Thumped Salisbury. Isnt that proof!

Are you singling out Salis Utd or ALL Northern Fed Clubs? Make up your mind.
If you were at the Downs v Noarlunga game, you would have spotted quite a few players and club members from surrounding Fed Clubs out there to support the Downs. Playford and Croydon also moved their KO time in the cup so the Downs etc could come support them if they chose as some of the players did for the Downs earlier in the day. Is that not respect and support?
At least 2 of the players you mentioned in your post played for a Fed Cup team last season but are getting a bit older and have gone back to the Amateurs despite the fact they could have a few more Fed seasons left in them.
Why is this such a big deal to you? Either single out Salisbury or come up with more proof of this happening with the other Northern Federation clubs.
