Munno Para v West Beach

Post by C U Next Saturday »

Why was this game abandoned ? I know it was wet but surely pitches aren't that bad at the moment ?

I did see something posted on a Facebook group that alleged a West Beach player hit a Munno Para player, but then it was deleted.

Apparently there's video footage of the incident so I'm sure the powers-to-be will manage it accordingly 😆

Footage has now hit 7news - which makes me wonder why they bother deleting posts on the Facebook group

Bit surprising seeing as the bloke who got knocked out was quick to go to Ch7. Funnily enough the initial footage left out the bit where he had a crack at the bloke from behind first.

Surely something has come of this, shouldn’t take this long when the club had already provided the footage to the media for the poor ‘victim’.

I believe the Munno Para player was handed a 3 game suspension while West Beach player got 12 games

Sets an interesting precedent. Swing first, just make sure you run away and get knocked out and you’re okay.

Munno Para should be charged with bringing game into disrepute for running straight to the media.

The MP player that said is scared to play the game again is named to play tomorrow
