Re: Women's Grand Final 2020

The criticism of Wendy Carter is unfair, when she has to abide by the wishes of the CEO that gives her direction for the womens game. Wendy is still as passionate as ever for the development of women’s football, but gets minimal support unless it has significant impact on the bottom line. Legrove, ...

Women's Grand Final 2020

I find it disheartening that the women's grand final was held at Valo Pk while the men's Grand final will be held at Coopers Stadium. Again, the FSA are not taking women's football seriously and that is why cricket, NRL and the AFL continuing to improve in leaps and bounds ahead of our sport. Shame ...

Re: Coaching Movements

Coming from sources inside Salisbury Inter camp that Tracey Jenkins has been confirmed as Head coach of West Adelaide. Salisbury Inter are absolutely livid with Tracey and West Adelaide for chasing her and negotiating behind the scenes especially prior to finals. Apparently Tracey promised SI to bui...

Re: Coaching Movements

Well done to Metro on a well deserved win considering Salisbury Inter were favourites. There are two people that should be ashamed of themselves for which this whole scenario has panned out. Tracy finalising a deal with West Adelaide for 2021 and West Adelaide board undermining Adrian Santrac while ...

Re: Head of Women's Football

No. W-league won’t be the same standard as in previous years. But united’s core will be the same. And we will be more competitive. Which is exciting. It’s not about “being fooled”. It’s about an opportunity for these girls to show the other states that they’re competitive when the financials are al...

Re: Head of Women's Football

Well, looking at the re-signing of players, it seems nothing has changed. It's true, as much as I thought Adrian Stenta would be his own coach in his own right, he is just a puppet on a string. Same player signings from last season. The only players that stood out this season in the WNPL was Holmes ...

I heard from one of the Salisbury Inter person that Tracey may be going to West Adelaide as head coach.

Can anyone confirm this.

Re: Adelaide United Keeper Quits Club

Just come in now that Willacy has signed with Melbourne City. Congrats on her appointment. Very sad to see her go as she is a remarkable and talented goalkeeper in SA and now we have lost her to Melbourne. Very disappointing to see her go. Well things aren't going right at Adelaide United as another goalie decides to move on.
Our future goalie has decided to quit as she is also not happy with the club.
Not good.

Re: Season review to date

Well said, In the way. Totally agree with your comments. City also plays the long or through ball to Dawber who is always free and alone on the wing. Dawber never comes into a pack but lingers on the outer. I cannot fathom why she is also not marked closely. You mark Cote and Dawber closely and don'...

Re: Player Power vs Club decision

Adelaide City have over 10 players selected in the initial Adelaide United Squad. Well that tells me that Adelaide City is the base for the next upcoming players into the Lady reds. This is absolutely disgraceful and clubs should be taking this issue with the FSA and Adelaide United and stop Ivan's ...

AUFC Women's team is nothing but a novelty to keep female football fans in this state happy. The sooner people realise and accept it the better. Another waste of a season. Fold the AUFC Women's team and put more time/effort and resources into the Men's side of the game. Jaycody, That is pretty harsh. I understand the frustration, but we dont need to spend the money on the men. They just need to spend the money on the right coach. Ivan and t...
