Re: New Junior Structure 2014

I'm already hearing premier league clubs splashing cash to ensure
Premier league status... Just in case ..does the Ffsa have the ability to
Police the wages?????

At least 2 age groups should've been implemented for next year.

should be good to see the talent on display...i think its the 1st or 2nd batch to come from the SSG structure...some of the skills on the boys i have seen this year in u/10's and u/11's has been excellent...no doubt a result of clubs focusing on SSG Im not a big fan of trials, throwing kids together...

the more football intelligence we can get for our coaches and players the better....thats 4 local clubs i know of with overseas links. I know one club is sending 2 coaches overseas for 2 weeks every year for coaching courses...then bringing that intelligence gathering back for 30 coaches.. from what...

Re: New Junior Structure 2014

When kids give up the game, or go to another club, how else are we to get new players .... trials We also have and need JSL teams Curious on two points. Why do you "need" JSL teams? And you have no-fee academy for 11s and 12s players. What about 13s and older? If kids and families want to...

Re: New Junior Structure 2014

The new Stucture will be fantastic for Junior developmnet, It will enable Coaches to try playing out from the back, possesion based football, and not win at all cost with fear of relagation. Kids will be tested trying to expermeinet with football momenst, allowed to take huge rik without fear, rath...

Re: New Junior Structure 2014

you just have to work out where you fit in.... Clubs that don't have a clear 5 year strategy will struggle. I think taking the pressure off junior coaches with promotion/relegation will encourage a more attacking, less fearful approach. less playing for a result mentality...points really wont matte...

Re: New Junior Structure 2014

Football, if played at a high level, needs a considerable amount of dedication. In most places in the world it is played all year round, with a break of about 3 months. For many kids I know, the end of the season is a sad moment, they'd rather play on and on and on - they certainly have an impatien...

lots of club hopping will happen...

watch fees go up for juniors at premier league clubs.

I suspect a few good coaches will be looking for new clubs.

what about when the parent is the best coach available .... i agree its open to exploitation but i haven't seen this at my club. if anything the opposite. Often, the only one willing to do it. In most cases yes...but i'm referring to a great coach who is unbiased ,genuinely loves the game and promo...

Re: round 12 results

U14A JPL Comets 3 def Western Strikers 2 @ Ellis Park, good hard-fought game, both sides had several scoring opportunities, spells of pressure, and showed their mettle, Strikers missed a penalty (saved by goalie) at 2-2 then Comets created a nicely worked goal and held on resolutely. Comets lost 3-2 in semi final to Capital Football- pretty much a state side.

3-0 down at half time the boys fought back to 3-2 and unlucky not to grab the equaliser.

well done to all involved- huge effort to make semi's first time out.

Not sure if Adel City made semis
