Has always been average and i can't believe Ange sees otherwise. Spurs' problem was always going to be depth.

Music to NOC's ears from Southgate in a stinging criticism of VAR https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/67373765 I'm a big fan of Gareth  Sadly the authorities believe VAR has made the game better and we are going to be stuck with it now. Unread post by Midfield Maestro » Tue Nov 07, 2023 7:27 am Romero not a penalty and not a red. agree....... in the same passage of play, just before the penalty, Sterling shouldve been carded for simulation...thus no penalty... Udogie should have received a yellow for the challenge then a yellow for dissent. Lucky to still be on the pitch. Lucky not to get a red for the challenge alone. Mind you, he's only 20, they should go easy on him ;-) I was saying to my mate in England that thirty years ago Romero's tackle wou...

Well played VAR another fine performance 👏 Which bit did you not like, or are you like Arteta, calling the decision to let Havertz off with a yellow a disgrace, an embarrassment etc.? For the record, although I do accept that Havertz was trying to block the ball up the line, rather than direc...

I'm no United fan, but did you see the penalty that City were given? If they're going to set that as the level of contact for a spot kick, there'll be one on every free kick and corner into the box.

Re: EPL 23/24
Chelsea already 11 points off the pace... ya love to see it. Happy for Ange, with another win overnight, but it's going to be interesting when they cop their 1st loss - and how it happens - to test the togetherness of the team. Shouldn't make a blind bit of difference, I think it's different losing...

Half time, 0-0 with Australia unlucky with 3 very good chances and Strain’s shot beating England’s goalie but saved on the line by a desperate defender. Goodwin providing some good crosses from the left. zzz 💤 wouldn’t know because it is getting it’s “beauty” sleep 😴 . Is that really an accurate co...

Ange's team does it again despite losing a player midway during the match. More than happy how Raheem Sterling is playing at Chelsea atm. Involved in 3 of last night's goals. Sterling has been pus since he left Liverpool, the only reason he was OK at City was that they were so dominant and gave him...

Now Liverpool are appealing Jones' red card. Seems to me that they're using the injustice of the disallowed goal to overturn the justified send off, perhaps hoping that the FA will feel sorry for them. Not often I agree with Spitty, but it is odd if they're telling the truth, that VAR won't re...
