Re: Dark Day for Vista

They just need to pick a team that will be ready in 2 to 3 years & work with them. Their junior base is big enough, they just need to work out how to connect the juniors to the seniors then start a production line. Shows the need for Saturday Amatuers & colegiate League to form the SL3, the...

leaving saasl

has there ever been such an exit of players in 1 season.
it appears there are numerous sunday div 1 sides with multiple exits.
could this even up the competition and give someone new an opportunity of silverware?
Look forward to see squads pre season comp time.

Re: Sunday results 6/5

I bet Vista are regretting the way they treated previous players. 4 straight loses. Not looking good. It was always going to be a struggle once they lost most of their players from last year and a change of coach as well. The club needs to decide whether they really want to continue in the amateur ...

great advert for the SAASL.
Thought Jets had better of first half but winning goal was against run of play.

Re: FFSA CUP 2018

remember the cove making the fed cup quarters(?) years ago and HAD to play fed cup Saturday and Sunday Div 1 game on Sunday back in the 90s. They played (I think?) their reserves in fed cup. Surely todays SAASL could play their cup games midweek as todays facilities are much better. Sunday Div 1 gam...

Re: FFSA CUP 2018

Downs were 4-1 up with 15 mins to play, and then hit hit the crossbar from a free kick which would have made it 5-1. Critical factor in the result was Downs coach's decision to sub three of their most mobile players - including the most dangerous looking forward on the ground - a puzzling decision....

Didn't inter get beat by Gawler 2-0 recently with almost full squad?

Cobras easily
Jets just
Vipers just
Brahma/Playford 50/50

Saasl better on paper in most cases but fitness levels and current intensity of games makes me think ffsa teams should be more favourable than many think
