Just looking for all the triumphant Arsenal fans commenting on here? Then I realised it's the Champions League thread  Stop deflecting from the issues you Spuds have at hand Cyril. For years you commented in a UCL thread when us Goons got spanked, so take it on the chin and jog on mate  ...

Re: Boomers - World Cup
Didnt play well first half overall and it was Mills that gave them a small lead at half time. They just needed a few more players to step up in the second half which they did and in the end it was a pretty comfortable win. Not sure how good Spain are but they are undefeated in the 5 games they have ...

Boomers - World Cup
Have to say as a a bit of a closet basketball fan and Im really enjoying watching the Boomers take on the world atm. 5 wins in a row and now the Boomers miss the USA in the next round, big chance to get a world cup medal now for the first time. I must say the French did look good last night, not one...

Re: England - 2019-20 Championship (formerly the 18-19 EPL)
Majority of championship clubs appear not to be over spending at this stage and if they are spending then they are only spending the $'s they are getting in. Brentford appear to be pretty active in the transfer market so it will be interesting how they go. Leeds look to be cashed up so it will be in...

defence played too high and were exposed too often. aussies had their chances and didn't take them. nuff sed. Both goals came from defensive mistakes, I dont normally shoot down GKs but is Williams still chasing that last cross?? Leeds self destructed and it all started in Jan with the new Spanish keeper and he kept that direction going with his effort just before half time last night that led to Derby's first goal. He made few similar decisions just prior to the stuff up and just got away with them. It was on the cards he w...

Good to see Bamford been charged with “successful deception of a match official” after he feigned injury in a wild match against Aston Villa, and now faces a two-match suspension which would rule him out of the first leg of the Championship play-offs. Two game suspension not enough in my opinion sh...

Re: Championship Season 2017/18
The ref didn't blow for a foul and the ball went wide and forward for Leeds compared to where the injured player was. The wide Leeds player had Villa players running at him from the centre that were out of position screaming to kick the ball out. The Leeds player did make a body movement and had to ...

Re: Championship Season 2017/18
It shows why VAR is required - Villa should have received a penalty and the send off shouldn't have happened. The whole game didn't shed Leeds in a good light - I cant see them going up now. Giving the goal back was a shining light and they played better than recent times but not good enough to get ...
