Re: ireland vs australia

The Qantas Socceroos have recorded a well deserved 3-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland this morning in Limerick, with Everton midfielder Tim Cahill the star with two first half goals. Cahill once again showed that he is truly world class, with two quality finishes, while David Carney secured a ...

Re: ireland vs australia

David Carney I think, a 30 yard screamer.........from what I have seen so far [which is SFA because it's not on FTA tv] so from the short highlights package, the goals, it was a convincing win.

Not bad for a defensive Pim Ver Beek and only 1 up front.

Not too sure if the boss makes many house calls, which leads me to think we might be half a chance.

I wouldn't be too quick to get rid of Malouda, Boswingwa and Kalou though. We need the depth these guys bring.

At last, some football on FTA TV fantastic. I thought the game was pretty good but not as pacey as I thought it would or should be. Maybe I'm too use to watching the EPL. But it was good to see something different. I thought the commentary was good quality, had no idea who he was though. All we need...

I'm jealous, only because I can't afford any of it. Good on em I say, what's the point of having it if you don't spend it. I wonder if they are interested in a little football club down under?

Sitting back with a contented smile, thinking we just might clean up this year. Do what Man U couldn't do.

FA Cup [yet again]
Premiership
UCL
and throw in the Community Shield for good measure.

Looking good.

I agree Essian would leave a hugh hole in the defensive 3rd.

I think Deco is all too comfortable right now, even if he was 100% fit I don't think he has the fire any longer, maybe the Serie A or more likely the A League......what a marquee player he would make for Adelaide.
