Bloomin hell. Might need to revisit my assessment of Uni. One game wonders or a blip on the radar? They looked positively out of sorts compared to what I saw the week before. Not the best display of skill and ability expected at this level. Magic 1 Me 0. NTC looked better than the week before and w...

Re: WNPL Round 2

Good preview of round 2 however, Uni to draw against NTC? Don't think so. Uni's loss was in no way indicative of their abilities. Rather it says Metro capitalised on opportunity. Uni are a really well drilled and skilful team that is exceptionally coached. NTC was dwarfed by Westies (Not Hellas ple...

too hard coz , they are too old to get off their backsides and modernize the id. Now all these cheating clubs can add fed players and fake name players all for a win. video the players and then you have 1/2 a chance i guess. All it takes is some thinking about how to use the modern tech stuff and yo...

Its interesting that the 1 night you attended the Knights try outs the turnout was actually really good and in line with last years tryouts. The pity here is that you have made comments regarding the coaches being ORDINARY when Paul has just coached Inter to the NPL and literally had just received t...

What's the bets that Para Hills stays up now? Good luck with that, Knights will struggle too, all the quality is gone by the looks, my daughter went out to trials( against my advice), what a joke! Re: Parents refereeing games

I've witnessed occasions where the match referee for some reason hasn't shown up for a game and generally the 2 clubs representatives come together and come to an agreement where 1 or 2 club reps or parents stand in as referees. It's happened quite a few times over my 5 years of my sons involvement...

There is always a small to medium element that pays players, like or not its life. To most part the sponsors and funding helps with most of the payments. The cost for clubs has gone up and like us normal parents with homes etc... power, water has increased, do you think clubs pay less, NO! they stil...

getting the SAASL Dinosaurs to change anything or address the growing ring players from fed's is another big issue. Brazil should not have won that , Gk off the line before ball struck so many times- more referees ignoring blatant laws of the game.

I don't think this is solely about what actually happened, but rather the chaos that ensued. Coaches (and parents) are the guardians of this sport and should set examples. Passion is great and should be encouraged. Stupidity should be punished. its under12! when will parents and coaches learn, watc...
