Re: Pezos to Coach AU Woman's

Again women's football is going further backwards. The major signing of the new Head Coach of Women's Football is a farce. He was appointed to this important role after being told by West Adelaide Club that he is no longer required. He has also caused issues as an assistant coach in the past with th...

Re: WNPL RELEGATION 2016/2017

Following from my previous comments, it's true that there will be no relegation. The FFSA are currently looking at expanding the competition to a 10-12 team comp. This means opportunities for state league clubs to enter the WNPL. How the FFSA are going to manage the competition with extra teams is s...

WNPL RELEGATION 2016/2017

Apparently, there have been discussions taking place now in relation to the WNPL relegation policy. The inside story is that the relegation will not take place this year. It appears that the FFSA will keep the same teams next year regardless of the requirements. If this is to happen, it is an absolu...

Re: Investigation into Conflict of Interest in WNPL New Crit

It appears coming out of the soccer circles that there has been investigation into the new WNPL. It was discovered from the investigation that a high profile individual had been fully aware of the situation of a particular club prior to the season commencing that they could not not meet the criteria...

Re: 4 WNPL Teams Failed To Meet The Criteria

Sorry sportsbird , comets, no U15 so do not meet requirements for wnpl, other recent wrong statements made. (It appears Sturt Marion hierarchy have conceded they are unable to meet the criteria and have indicated they will withdraw from WNPL and re-nominate for the State League in 2016. The FFSA wi...

Seeing as Black Swan seems to have some knowledge of the clubs situations, I'd love to see sportsbird apologise to Metro as apparently she was completely wrong and has made unfounded accusations against that club. Not that it's the first time I've seen sportsbird make accusations that are completel...

4 WNPL Teams Failed To Meet The Criteria

There are 4 teams that have failed to meet the criteria set by the FFSA. The FFSA made it quite categorically clear that any club that does not meet the criteria will not be permitted to enter the WNPL. 1. Sturt Marion - no under 17's & u11's 2. Metro - No u9's 3. ParaHills Knights - No u9's 4. ...

Re: WNPL

It appears there has been a backflip from the FFSA by producing the schedules early for 2016. It was issued to stop the uncertainty from all clubs. The word now is the competition will go ahead regardless of any clubs not meeting the criteria by the first round. Apparently, the FFSA have concerns th...

Apparently, Sturt/Marion have had discussions with Cumberland to look at amalgamating in 2016. However, Cumberland have declined the offer and are playing the waiting game for Sturt/Marion to fold in the hope of gaining several players and a pitch. The likelihood of Sturt/Marion folding is inevitabl...

Pay Dispute - Lady Reds

Rumours have it that the local W League Lady Red players are unhappy that overseas & interstate players are being looked after financially while the locals do not get paid. I believe this issue will come to ahead after the completion of the season prior to the 2017 season. If this is true, then ...

So many players leaving now that RA has left!
