I think Downs would love to be the ones to put the final nail in Brahma's season.
Plus they're going for an undefeated season so there's still a bit to play for

Annoys me a bit the vastly significant differences in results when Tests are held only days apart.
Makes for an unpredictable series though

On the other side - having Savoy in Div 1 next year will be fun for a lot of teams and their supporters
Would expect some busloads to head up the highway next year - let's hope their bar is fully stocked to cater!

That was VERY impressive.
If England can get Jofra back for the Ashes next year all of a sudden the bowling attack looks a lot better as well.

Absolutely
Is it a continuation of the previous series or just a one-off test for the Test Championship points?

Re: England cricket team lol

Have really enjoyed the England v NZ test series - some quality cricket from both sides. Can't remember the last test series in England without any rain delays but it's made for 3 excellent test matches. Bairstow has really lifted and suddenly that middle order looks strong with Root, Bairstow and S...

Poland 2 vs Sweden 0 Portugal 2 vs North Macedonia 0 Strange decision imho that Sweden didn't bring on Ibrahimović with 10 minutes to go. So we made it. Oh well, at least I'll have one team to keep my interest in this WC. Who would you support if Australia drew Poland out of interest? Poland for me

Re: Pakistan v australia

It was a road - but both teams got to play on it so a draw was always likely to be the outcome. My issue was with the scoring rate of the Pakis - went at less than 3 an over for 2 full days despite only losing 4 wickets. That killed the Test (or at least any hope of a result for either side) but the...

Re: Stand in skipper standing down?

He's not the best keeper in the country so he shouldn't play Test cricket anymore

Turns out it all happened back in 2017 - of which Cricket Australia knew about - and yet they still made him captain.

Complete and utter joke.

Hopefully it now elevates Alex Carey for a test debut this summer

You say it's pretty conclusive but you can't say why. Whatever you do, don't call your dog Kevin. Your bias is showing. I think the players he's accused of making the racist remarks who have since come out and said they have apologised to him for saying those things would show that at least some of...

The removal of the 'away goals' rule would have made it easier for AZ Alkmaar as they only needed 1 more goal to take it to extra time.

Assault in Junior Footy Game

Disclaimer: I'm not sure if this was covered on the news over the last 24 hours Heard on the radio there was a massive brawl at a girls junior footy game over the weekend. Apparently a 14y.o umpire was assaulted (as was his dad) according to the reports. Roo & Ditts had a couple of comments abou...
