Re: fulham rumours
Am I wrong? Second comment harsh, but they obviously don't value the SAASL... So seeya later! Exceptionally harsh.. You can't second guess what people want to do and in this case, its obvious that the players preferred the FFSA State League option. The FFSA option was always going to happen for Ful...

Re: MAIWAND SHOULD BE BANNED
Burundi Eagles are the ex Collegiate team 'Regency Eagles'. They played under the name North City last season as their A team but have since pulled out the CSL altogether it would seem. Good luck with that  The Maiwand / Ghan thing is another issue and Div 4 will be poorer for having shiraz l...

Re: Where is SAASL heading..
Having been part of both SAASL and CSL... The cost of entering a team is almost identical. The biggest difference was having referees (Offical - not that this guarantee's quality!) for even a D grade game.... No more Club refs!! The State League is a different kettle of fish with SL2 requiring an ad...

Re: Saturday Div 4
Regency Eagles have struggled in the Collegiate (not paying fines, fees, playing unrego'd players the usual stuff...) They went from a 2 team club to a single team last season and I'm guessing the Burundi Eagles is their resurrected club but in the SAASL. If it is... good luck.. they were a pain in ...

Re: Junior trials discussion -
Totally agree with the problems due to trialing in late Sept. Mount Barker will trial in mid October for its Junior JSL teams on the weekends to give anyone who fancies a go the opportunity.... Its an attempt to be sensible but has its downside too in terms of some kids signing up early elsewhere......

Re: Adelaide Comets Amateurs to CSL
Couldn't agree more Steve #4.... Having played in both comps and having no axe to grind with either, The CSL comp in Div 1 especially offers a good, competitive and well run league. I can see movement from Saturday SAASL into this comp over the next few years but not sure if it would be more than a ...

Re: Adelaide Comets Amateurs to CSL
Cost of entering a team and fees are pretty similar to the SAASL... Can see a few moving over who want to to 'align' with the FFSA......
Refs are no worse than the SAASL either and no club refs for the B's or lower...... not that I miss them club refs :0

Re: Fulham & vipers to FFSA
Yeh, but apparently fencing, races and the like aren't required in the new league.....
Only required if promoted ...
Regardless, the cost will come at some point I suppose unless you remain anchored in the bottom league but to get the new clubs in / going, its not too expensive.
