Re: AFL 2019
I dont understand why dont they make it so any time the ball goes between the goal posts, just award a goal whether it is off the boot, hand or rushed through. Will save a lot of confusion, controversy and waiting time. Make the game more interesting.

Re: AUWFC Captain Quits Lady Reds
Fulham FC Really? They have had zero involvement in the cross code player's development. And keep it in perspective, it's not the world cup squad. It's an exhibition match. And Emma's selection? same scenario. Exhibition match. well done to Jenna M, and Fulham FC among all the clubs they are the on...

Re: AUWFC Captain Quits Lady Reds
good luck to Emma Checker, thank you for your time with Adelaide. Do what is best for you and your future, in football and in life. Even when you play against us, Adelaide will still love you ( most of us anyway ) hope you have an injury free and trouble free season. I hope when Melb City play the R...

WNPL final
Good luck to both sides, the two best sides over the course of the season are playing each other. Lot is at stake, not just the prize, but for some players the last chance to impress a W League coach, never know who might be watching. Looking at the team lists on the website for this game, and the Re...

Re: 2019 iSport Players Aust WNPL Team of the Year
thing with these so called team of the year selections, never all going to agree, you could ask all 8 wnpl coaches, and i bet they all come up with a different eleven players.
Surely Adelaide City coach would be the coach, they finished way ahead of the rest.

Re: Goal kicks leaving the penalty area
There is confusion with this rule among referees, some are allowing it, some are not ? Is it possible for referees association to let all Refs know that players are allowed short goal kicks now ? Watching a womens game last Sunday one particular ref did not get the email, regarding the change, confu...

That Horton guy is not the sweet innocent media make him out to be and he is a sook The winner was recently tested and was all negative, how embarassing will it be when the next lot of results are negative as well ? It is not for him to decide who is a clean and who isnt. Poor form i hope he says so...

Re: coffs nationals - same old story
My query is why do we bother with NTC teams in the first place? Aust rules, cricket, netball etc dont have "academy" or quasi state teams playing in junior comps. Juniors play for their clubs and the identified talent is selected and play in their respective national championships. Why do...

Re: coffs nationals - same old story
We have around 4000 female participants here in SA. NNSW have just over 11,000 and NSW Metro have over 54,000 Does this put us at a disadvantage from the get go? Good question, that will never change, will always be the case, so we have to find a way to work with what we have available, not use sma...

Re: Players Wanted WNPL Senior Premier League Clubs
Wouldnt it be good, when those current player contracts run out, and new players are "recruited" players into the system, should be a rule that out going players return to the club they came from, for at least one season. I heard, last year one club provided over 20 players in different ag...

Re: Matildas coach Alen Stajcic stood down months before Wor
FFA deserves the credit for this failure, I wonder whom will fall on their sword. The matildas deserved more in the world cup, but exiting where they did was a complete failure! Who says they deserved more? Overrated. I am thinking meant to say Matildas deserved better Up until about 4 months ago t...

Re: Matildos not as good as they thought
In the case as mentioned, both player were holding/pushing. I only saw one player grab a shirt. Sad thing is she didnt need to Agree - she ( Kennedy ) was skinned several times by the pace of young Norway strikers, lucky our keeper pulled off some good saves. Var clearly showed one player grabbing ...

Re: Sam Kerr spoilt brat questionable woman
While most of us wish her all the best i hope this is not a deliberate distraction just bedore such a crucial world cup game My worry for Matildas is having played a country ranked in the 50s and the media carrying on like they won the world cup is not the best preparation going into knockout stage ...

Give them credit for at least having a go couldve taken easy option like less courageous teams have done.
You dont often get a chance to play against best teams in the competition.

A win is a win but lets put things in perspective Brazil have been struggling for a while now saw how weak Jamaica were against Italy, and Brazil struggled to beat them. Also feel like we got looked after a bit by referee. Tell me though, if you are a referee, why have a linesman, why have var, when...

Re: Totti!!!
I think it was something started by Totti, from my limited knowledge suppose to signify that scoring goals is like childs play- Italian girls emulate Totti, Kerr emulates Cahill. How many goals have Matildas scored from direct play in last few games ? Cant keep relying on set pieces / corners / etc ...

Is saying sorry, suppose to make everything okay ? allegedly Get someone shafted and think it will be forgotten by saying sorry ? Dont think so Full impact and ramifications, on FFA, womens game, Matildas, are still being felt far and wide. Lot of pressure on Matildas and all the staff in France any...

In the Way- with regards to the social divisions, I went and had a look at each or the ladders, and I saw a couple where first place teams were way out in front (ie Salisbury Utd) and a couple where the bottom teams seem to be struggling. I don’t know why they don’t do grading games anymore- I susp...

Couple of games i have seen Adelaide City are clearly the standout team, would not get too carried away just yet, even though they need to lose at least 3 matches, with half season to play, for anyone to catch them. As we are about half way mark, being new would like to share my thoughts WA with the...

one of their greatest wins? I'm thinking the best win ever by a SAASL side? Not sure if anyone has ever made the semi final of federation cup? Inter may have made a quarters? also the Cove when they were amateurs. Well done Elizabeth Downs and everyone involved. Not sure how it compares, when In 19...
